We’ll See If The “Perfect” Record Continues

Did the U.S. military actually say “kidnapped?” One suspects not, given that we know media continues to have an incredible problem with terminology. In war, combatants are not “kidnapped,” they are “captured.”
As we know, most in media are perpetually wilting over the fact that the U.S. actually detains enemy who fall into U.S. hands alive. Moreover, they have little to n0thing to say about how nearly all of those the U.S. detains survive to be released. When any do not, they go out of their way not to.
So with this capture, we will now see if the post-2001 trend continues. Insofar as this blog is aware, every single U.S. or coalition soldier captured by the jihadist enemy, has been murdered in captivity. That is a 100 percent record of barbarity unequalled by any enemy in all of human history.

A small correction. There were (and are) primitive societies whose warriors did not take mature male enemies as prisoners — or, at least, keep them alive for long. (I recently got back from another visit to Custer battlefield, where the Sioux certainly pursued their usual “no quarter” policy.) However, unlike modern terrorists, such tribal warriors routinely fought to the death rather than submit to capture — and certainly did not make a habit of whining about their “inhumane” captors’ alleged failure to adhere to civilized standards that they themselves had explicitly rejected.
The terrorists’ record of murdering Americans openly wearing the uniform of their country underscores the lunacy of the notion that applying Geneva Convention standards to the same terrorists may somehow “protect” our servicemen from ill-treatment, blah blah blah. Is there any evidence that such adherence has had this effect? Over the past 65 years, the only enemy which made any effort at all toward conformity with such standards (at least with regard to American POWs) was undeniably — Nazi Germany.
But then, the Nazis, even while engaged in the slaughter of millions of defenseless innocents, wished to present a “civilized” facade to the outside world. We should always keep in mind that the disgusting recordings of modern beheadings, torture, and other examples of barbaric behavior are made by the terrorists themselves. The Satanic face they present to the world is the way they WISH to be seen.
Along the same lines of word useage:
One of the TV channels – History/Military etc. has been running a series about excavating trenchlines along the Western Front of WWI. One program included a discussion on the use of tunneling to set explosives under the enemy line.
When tunnelers heard enemy tunnelers they set explosives near where they heard the enemy tunnelers.
The presenter said the tunnelers murdered the other tunnelers.
Murdered?
This, from the same person who a few minutes earlier mentioned that the first large effort under the German trenches killed at least 25,000 soldiers.
