Another “Untruth,” Uh, “Uncovered”
The fiancee of the July 21 attack ringleader Yassin Omar has been jailed for three years for helping him try to escape justice by dressing as a Muslim woman.
Teenager Fardosa Abdullahi gave Omar her mother’s long black robe to help him flee London the day after the attacks in 2005.
The terror leader was later filmed on CCTV wearing the robes, with shaved arms and carrying a white handbag…
Interesting, this: “July 21 failed suicide bomber flees London in his fiancee’s mother’s burqa, his arms shaved and carrying a white handbag.” Presumably, we can all look forward to the Independent’s Mark Steel dissecting this latest, blatant falsehood . . . in the next edition of his wild and crazy reporting “fabrications” about Islam, right?

UPDATE: What is it with these — like Mr Steel’s — “wife beating” comparisons and Islam? The Guardian:
France has denied citizenship to a Moroccan woman who wears a burqa on the grounds that her “radical” practice of Islam is incompatible with basic French values such as equality of the sexes…

And if you follow that argument to another logical conclusion, then the demanding of the wearing of a burqa is spousal abuse? Non?
