He fails to mention the fact that a lot of northeasteners moved to the Sunbelt States in the 90's (myself included; Pennsylvania to Texas) and somehow didn't manage to "enlighten" the locals with their "more diplomatic, communitarian Yankee sensibility". In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few of these transplants voted a certain Crawford, TX resident to the Presidency in 2000 and 2004. Obama if he is the nominee. Whether that actually holds true come November still must keep many of the Obama campaign leaders up at night.
